Nokia Growth Partners focuses its direct investment activities on information and communications technology companies serving the mobile industry, ranging from the network layer and handset components to software applications, services and media. Our investment focus includes the Internet and computing as we believe consumer electronic devices and services are converging, blurring boundaries and requiring seamless integration for a wide range of activities.

We are growth stage investors who work with companies that have a commercially available product or service with customers that have validated the business opportunity and revenue model. We typically invest from US$5 to $15 million, generally as lead investors, but usually working closely with other value added investors with complementary skills and perspectives. Nokia Growth Partners invests primarily in the United States, Europe and Asia.

FUND OF FUNDS PROGRAM

Nokia invests in leading venture capital funds as part of a US$100 million fund of funds program to encourage mobile innovation, enhance partner engagement in the venture community, and provide a window on new technologies relevant to Nokia. Nokia Growth Partners advises on fund investments and manages limited partner engagement with these funds. Partner funds have an established investment track record with proven domain expertise in technology, media and telecommunications in regions from which mobile innovation is emanating.

Venture funds in which Nokia invests enjoy close working relationships with Nokia executives in areas of relevance to their investments, which may result in better insight and earlier engagement for the companies in which they invest.
